Emma over at My Creative Time is having another Throwback Thursday! This weeks theme is Birthdays , this is what I came up with:

My card is 5" x 5" and the I used the Wild Card Cartridge for my Cupcake and candle.
The Cupcake and candle is cut out at 3". For the candle I used Le Plume II markers.
The green ribbon is from Wal-mart ( I think) it is the Spool of Ribbon.
To write "Happy Birthday Cupcake" I used a Black Glaze ink pen.
All of my paper came from Hobby Lobby!

Update!

Hello everyone!Sorry it has been awhile since I have been on here! On Tuesday I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out. My top 2 were coming in correctly but there was no room for them in my mouth and my bottom 2 were coming in wrong! So, before I got my wisdom teeth out I had to get some things done. I am not 100% better yet but I am going to start crafting again : ] ! I know it has only been three days since my surgery, but I am not in a lot of pain, just swollen and tired. I hope everyone is having a Fabulous Day!!!! : ]

MPS- Color Challenge

My Pink Stamper is having a color challenge this week! She is asking everyone to make a project using the colors pink, brown, orange, and green. This was a little hard for me because I couldn't think of something using just those colors, but this is what i came up! I used Create-a-Critter to cut out the lamb and I cut it out at 2 1/2 and I also used critter stamps (PK-754) from Peachy Keen stamps. I also used a scallop punch at 2 5/16" and another one at 2". The ribbon that I used I purchased at Hobbly Lobby, it is brown shear ribbon!

Have a fabulous day!

*I have been in the craft room a lot this week! So, hopefully soon I will have more projects posted! *

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge!!

Hello everyone! Emma over at My Creative Time is having another Throwback Thursday Challenge. For this challenge she wants us to use the cartridge Doodlecharms or any other cartridge you have! Also, she wants us to make a scrapbook page layout or a 2-page Layout! So, here is what I came up with:

I do not have a lot of cricut cartridges right now so, I used Dress up paper dolls and made the superheros. I cut the superheros out at 3 1/2". I used white, pink and green glitter paper for their outfits that I got from Joann Fabrics. I have not decided what I am going to put on these pages so there is no writing on them right now! I am thinking about making it into a supermom/superdad page for my cousin. I also made a little side pocket for a description of the pictures behind one of the pink frames! -Sorry my pictures are not the clearest they came off of my phone!

My DH's Grandma's Birthday Cake

My DH's family is coming to town this weekend and his grandma's birthday was Wednesday, so I made her a birthday cake! This is the first time I have ever made roses!! I think they turned out pretty good! I am really impressed with my cake especially since it is my 4th cake I have ever made, plus I did not have any help with this one!
: ] ! I just thought I would post a picture of the cake for everyone to see! I hope everyone is having a great day/night!

My "Monster" Throwback Thursday Challenge" Card

Emma over at My Creative Time is having a Throwback Thursday Challenge and has asked everyone to use the paper doll dress up cart. or any other cart. you might have. Also the project that you create has to be a 3D or altered item. For my card I used Paper Doll Dress Up, which I just borrowed from my aunt yesterday when I was over at her house. Now I am glad I did. I really like this cart. It has some really cute cuts!! My card is an 8.5x11 cut in half to make two 4.25x5.5. I cut out my ballerina at 3 1/4! For my 3D item I made her a tutu out of some tulle and a strand of pearls and I also made her hair piece out of some pearls. I have not stamped anything on the card yet because I am not sure what I am going to use the card for. As of right now I am thinking a birthday card for one of my nieces. I hope everyone is having a fabulous day!!!

MPS-NSD Challenge #12 - "Critter-licious"

Well since this challenge was called "Critter-licious" I used the cartridge Create a Critter. I made a cute Hedgehog. I used glitter glue for her bow. I also found this really cute critter paper at Jeffrey Allens.......................

*will finish updating later.

MPS-NSD Challenge #11 - "Colors of the Rainbow"

I decided I would just make a rainbow from my cartridge Create a Critter! Create a Critter is my favorite cartridge and I think you can tell now. The next post I also used it! : ) I am so glad I bought this one When I did. I basically used all the colors of the rainbow. I cut the rainbow out at 2 3/4. I used the clear stamp good luck from Heidi Grace's stamp set Greetings. I dont know if I really like this card or not. The measurements for the card will be posted later.

MPS-NSD Challenge #10 - "May Day"

For this card I used Create A Critter to make the caterpillar. This card was also made with scraps that I have used previously on other projects. I try to use up every little piece of scraps I have. I think the ribbon that I used came from Wal-mart, but i am not sure. measurements for this card will be posted later.

MPS- NSD Challenge #9 - "Take Shape"

I decided to make a monkey card for this. I used the cartridge New Arrival, but after I did it I wish I would have used Create a Critter. I also used design studio to weld the monkeys together. I think it was done at 4 1/4?? I will have to get back to you on that.

MPS-NSD Challenge #8 - "Love My Color"

For this card I used the Perfectly Paisley cuttlebug embossing folder. I also used a pink glittery flower that I had left over from some other project that I did in the past. I used the stamps from Heidi Grace's stamp set Greetings. Measurements will be posted at a later! : )

MPS- NSD Challenge #7 - "Hey Dad!"

My dad really enjoys golfing now. It is his new thing. It keeps him happy, which is always good. So when I saw these clear stamps by Studio G, I knew they would come in handy. So I used them on my card a golf club, golf ball, and the saying at the bottom. I got the paper for this card at Joann's when they had the sale 5 for $1, which is a great deal!!! Then I used some brown sheer ribbon from hobby lobby in the fabric section. The measurements for this card will come at a later time.

MPS- NSD Challenge #6 - "Kids Craft, Too"

I do not really have any cricut cartridges with kids on it nor do I have a kid of my own. So, I used the cricut cartridge New Arrival and made an "It's A Boy!" card. I thought it turned out really cute. The baby was cut out at 2 1/2. I used some ribbon that I got at hobby lobby in the fabric section. For the diaper I used some glitter glue that I recently got from Joann's for a dollar. the measurements for the card will come at a later date. : ) !

MPS-NSD Challenge #5-"Teacher Appreciation Days"

I used 2 different scallop punches. The thank-you stamp was from Heidi Grace clear stamp set Greetings. I just used some scrap paper that I had to make this card. The pink ribbon came from Wal-mart. Measurements will be posted at a later time.

MPS-NSD Challenge #4 - "I Like You the Least"

For this card I used the cricut cartridge Stretch your imagination. I barely use this one so I thought it fit the criteria perfectly for this challenge. I made an ice cream cone and then used a black ink pen to go around the background paper. I also used glitter glue to go around the edges of the ice cream. The stamp that I used was a clear stamp by studio g. The measurements of the card will be posted at a later time.

MPS-NSD Challenge #3 - "Thinking Outside the Box"

For this one I had to make a special trip to Wal-mart yesterday. As I was looking around in the craft section I came across googly eyes. I have never used googly eyes before and thought that they would look really good on some of the critters/animals you can cut out with Create a Critter. So I bought them and made a hippo. The hippo was cut out at 2 1/2 and the water was cut out at 1 1/2 and the grass was cut out at 1 1/2 and 2. I used a stamp Greetings by Heidi grace. The measurements of the card will be added later.

MPS-NSD Challenge #2 - "Getting Scrappy"

This is the card I made of scraps. All of it is made from scraps except the ribbon. I used the cricut cartridge Create a Critter to make the squirrel and the nut. If you cannot tell yet my favorite cartridge is Create a Critter, which it will become clear by the time i get all my challenges posted :)!
I cut the squirrel out at 1 and 3/4 and the nut out at 1. I will have to measure the card later to give you the size of it.

MPS-NSD Challenge #1 - "Mother Dear, I Love You So"

This is the card I made for this challenge. I am going to give it to my mom for Mother's day! I used the cricut cartridge Create a Critter for the fawn and I used a stamp for studio g stamps that are a dollar at joanns. I also used glitter glue for the fawn's nose, feet, and collar. I will post the the size of the card and paper later so that I can get the others ones up.

MPS Challenge- Pink, Black, and Green!

For the MPS challenge I decided I would make a Flamingo card. I used the cartridge Serenade to make the flamingo. The first layer of pink is glitter paper that I purchased at Joanns. The wing of the flamingo was originally white paper and I stamped it with a fuchsia ink pad that I got from Joanns in the dollar deals. Also for this I used a scallop and circle punch. The word "Hi" was stamped with Heidi Grace stamp set Greetings. The Green paper is from K & Company, I bought the big paper pack at Joanns when it was 50% off : ) ! I also embossed my black strip of paper with my cuttlebug and I used the swiss dot folder! Then I just used some ribbon from Walmart and a Green button I had around my house. The card is approximately 31/2 by 5 1/2. Hope you like my card. :) Have a wonderful day!
